On the beach
And so we won't mention it, either."
"What shall we do? I do not understand." "We just enjoy our vacation here! Tomorrow we go and play on the beach as nothing's happening."
The next day, grandma and Mr. Jackins went to the beach with Bruno and I in the hand bags.
There were many people on the beach. Grandma chose a place near the end of the beach where there were few people since it was far from the shower room. Mr.Jackins rented a big sun-umbrella under which there were a table and two armchairs. While Grandma was resting in the chair, Mr. Jackins went to swim in the sea. Bruno and I came out of the bags and played in the sand. At the end of the beach, there are some reefs. Some were in the water and some were on the beach. We ran into the reefs to play. At noon, Mr. Jackins bought a lot of delicious food for us to enjoy under the umbrella.
I had some of the Dezhou millet from Grandma's bag. Bruno saw the millet and I asked him to have some, saying that it would be good for his health, but he refused for it was not tasty.
In the afternoon, we played hide-and-seek in the reefs. Though Bruno had to keep eating snacks and was reluctant to run, we still had a very good time.
The next day, we went to the same place.
Mr.Jackins was very helpful and we were all very happy. The third day, Bruno and I were playing hide-and-seek in the reefs. It was my turn to hide and Bruno's turn to seek. I hid behind a reef, waiting for Bruno to find me. At the beginning, I thought I had a good place to hide in, but soon, I felt that there was something wrong.
I came out to look for Bruno, but I could not find him. Where was he? |
