A Dream for the Oriental
I have just received a letter from my nephew, Henry. He is in China. He has been there for almost a year. Henry is a student and he is studying Chinese medicine at a university in Jinan, the capital city of Shandong Province. He has learned to speak Chinese and to use chopsticks. He has bought a bicycle and has already visited different places in Jinan. He has ridden to Mount Tai to climb the mountain several times and has been to Qufu, Confucious' hometown. He has gone to Beijing to visit the Forbidden City and the Great Wall. He will soon visit Qin's Tomb to see the terracotta warriors in Xi’an. From there, he will take the train to Guilin, the most beautiful place in China. My nephew has been dreaming of living in China since he was a boy. Now, his dream has come true.
