Running Across the Country

     The Olympic Games will be held in our country in only one year's time. People around the country are carrying on various activities to celebrate the coming of the event.  Lulu, an eight-year-old girl, is running from the southern end of the country to the northern end. Her destination is the Capital, where the games will be held. She runs 60 kilometers a day and has, so far, covered a distance of 2,000 kilometers. Her father follows her by bicycle.  The media has reported what they are doing. Some applaud her while those against her father think it is a torture to the girl. When asked by reporters if she is tired or not, she says she is willing to run. She sometimes replies that she feels tired, but she wants to contribute to the Olympic Games.
