Chapter 1: The Boy Who Lived

The Dursleys lived an ordinary life on Privet Drive in Little Whinging. One night, Professor Dumbledore, Professor McGonagall, and Hagrid appeared with a baby named Harry Potter. Harry's parents were killed by the dark wizard Voldemort, but Harry miraculously survived, leaving a lightning-shaped scar on his forehead. Dumbledore left a letter explaining Harry's background and why he should be raised by the Dursleys. After they left, Harry began his life with the Dursleys.
