Since dragon breeding was illegal, Harry and Hermione decided to help Hagrid get rid of Norbert. They secretly delivered Norbert to Ron's brother Charlie but were caught by Filch. As punishment, Harry, Hermione, Neville, and Draco were sent to the Forbidden Forest on a dangerous mission. This experience deepened Harry's understanding of the forest's dangers and strengthened his resolve to protect the Sorcerer's Stone.
Chapter 14: The Forbidden Forest During their detention, Harry, Hermione, Neville, and Draco were sent into the Forbidden Forest to find a wounded unicorn. In the forest, Harry encountered a terrifying creature—Professor Quirrell, possessed by Voldemort, drinking unicorn blood. Harry was saved by a centaur and escaped danger. This encounter made Harry realize Voldemort was after the Sorcerer's Stone to regain power, and he decided to take action to stop him.
Chapter 15: Through the Trapdoor Harry, Ron, and Hermione decided to prevent Voldemort from obtaining the Sorcerer's Stone. They went through a series of complex traps and obstacles, including Hagrid's three-headed dog, magical plants, a giant chessboard, and a logic puzzle. During the process, Ron was injured while bravely sacrificing himself in the chess game, and Hermione solved the logic puzzle, leaving Harry to face the final room alone. Harry discovered that Professor Quirrell was the one searching for the stone, with Voldemort attached to him. |
