1. Vernon Dursley

4. Albus Dumbledore

Dumbledore knew of Harry's significance from the moment he was born and decided to place him with the Dursleys after his parents' death, hoping he would grow up safely away from the dangers of the magical world. Dumbledore understands Harry's crucial role in the fight against Voldemort and offers guidance and protection once Harry enters Hogwarts. He is respected for his wisdom and kindness by both students and staff, though he also harbors many secrets that unfold throughout the series. Dumbledore symbolizes benevolence, wisdom, and the steadfast resistance against dark forces.

5. Professor Minerva McGonagall
Professor Minerva McGonagall is the Transfiguration professor at Hogwarts and head of Gryffindor House. She is a strict, upright, and wise witch who can transform into a cat. McGonagall has high expectations of her students but also cares deeply for them. She is very concerned with the well-being and development of Harry and other students. On the night Harry is left at the Dursleys' doorstep, she witnesses the event with Dumbledore and supports the decision. As the Transfiguration professor, McGonagall demonstrates remarkable skill in her subject, inspiring a love for magic in her students. 6. Rubeus Hagrid

Ron Weasley is one of Harry's best friends at Hogwarts, coming from a pure-blood wizard family with modest means. Ron is loyal, brave, and has a good sense of humor, although he sometimes lacks self-confidence. Throughout his time at Hogwarts, Ron, along with Harry and Hermione, forms a strong bond and goes on numerous adventures. Ron's loyalty and courage make him an essential support for Harry. At home, Ron is one of seven children and often feels overshadowed by his older brothers, but he proves his unique worth and talents among his friends. Ron's journey is one of courage, friendship, and self-discovery.

10. Hermione Granger
Hermione Granger is one of Harry's closest friends, a Muggle-born witch known for her intelligence, diligence, and strong magical abilities. Hermione excels academically, achieving top marks in nearly every subject. Her knowledge and quick thinking help Harry and Ron in many critical situations. Initially, her seriousness and strict adherence to rules make her somewhat unpopular, but her bravery and loyalty soon earn her the respect and affection of her friends. During her time at Hogwarts, Hermione is not only an academic achiever but also demonstrates courage and ingenuity in their adventures. Her character represents the power of knowledge and the importance of true friendship.

11. Severus Snape
Severus Snape is the Potions Master at Hogwarts and head of Slytherin House. He has a cold and often hostile attitude towards Harry, seeming to harbor deep resentment against him. Snape's behavior and motivations remain a mystery throughout much of the series, presenting him as a seemingly antagonistic character. However, his true nature and emotions are gradually revealed in later books, showing a more complex and conflicted personality. 12. Professor Quirinus Quirrell
Professor Quirinus Quirrell is the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher at Hogwarts. He appears timid and nervous but is actually an accomplice of Voldemort, attempting to help him regain power. In the climax of the story, Quirrell's true identity is revealed as he becomes one of Harry's primary adversaries. 13. Voldemort
Voldemort is the most powerful and evil dark wizard, and Harry's nemesis. After killing Harry's parents, he tried to kill Harry but failed and lost his powers.
