Chapter 8: The Deathday Party

Nearly Headless Nick invites Harry, Ron, and Hermione to his Deathday Party, a ghostly celebration marking the anniversary of his death. The party is a gloomy affair, filled with other ghosts and morbid activities. Harry hears the strange voice again, and this time it leads them to the scene of another attack: Colin Creevey has been petrified. The trio realizes that the attacks are connected to the opening of the Chamber of Secrets. They begin to investigate the legend of the chamber, learning about its history and the possibility that a monster is responsible for the attacks.
