Tea is the second most
popular drink in the world after water. It's not just good for our health but
also an important part of many cultures. What does tea mean to you? In Chengdu, there are
as many teahouses as there are leaves in a cup of tea! My grandpa used to take
me to the teahouse where he and his friends would drink tea and share news. Now
that I study abroad, most of my classmates prefer coffee, but I always choose
green tea. It's more than just a drink for me. A warm cup of tea always makes
me feel like I'm back home. It's well known that
British people love afternoon tea, but in reality, tea is enjoyed all day long.
My husband can drink eight cups a day! When my kids were young, I always made
tea for them after school. Now that they're adults, they come back every
weekend. We sit in the yard, chat, and relax with black tea and biscuits. It's
our way of staying connected. |
