Rock music meets the erhu

Rock music blares from my computer speakers. As a big fan of rock music, I play the electric guitar in our school band. Sometimes, I even write my own songs and share them online. Music brings me so much joy.

But right now, another sound joins in—Grandpa's erhu. Music is his hobby too, but of a different kind. He loves playing the erhu in the park with his friends, often singing Beijing opera together. They have quite a following of fans.

An idea suddenly strikes me: "Grandpa!" I burst into his room...

Every autumn, our school hosts an art festival. This year, I decide to perform with Grandpa. After a week of practice, we step onto the stage. I nod at Grandpa, and we start playing our instruments. The audience moves with our music, enjoying the blend of rock and traditional Chinese melodies.

Grandpa beams at me, and I can't help but smile back. It feels amazing to share our hobby together.
