The first lesson

The importance of thoughtful learning cannot be overstated. In our English class, Ms. Chen wrote a sentence on the blackboard and instructed us, "Please write this down." As we began to transcribe, I wrote the first word and hesitated.

学而不思则罔。 我们的英语老师陈老师在黑板上写下这句话，并说：“请把这句话记下来。”我们开始写。我写下了第一个词，然后停了下来。

但后来我仔细思考了这句话的意思，举手发言了。
