 Chapter 6: Talons and Tea  

Harry, Ron, and Hermione settle into their classes, and Harry is enthusiastic about learning from Professor Lupin. However, Draco Malfoy provokes Buckbeak, resulting in a disastrous encounter where he gets injured. This chapter emphasizes themes of bravery and respect, as well as the consequences of arrogance.
