The Brave Little Firefly 《勇敢的小萤火虫》 A 1.Once upon a time in a forest filled with tall trees and sparkling streams, 2.There lived a little firefly named Felix. 3.Felix felt tiny compared to the other fireflies who seemed to fly higher and shine brighter. 4."I wish I was like the others. 5.I wish I could shine brighter and fly higher. 6.I'm just so small," Felix said.
1.很久以前,在一个有着高大树木和闪闪发光的小溪的森林里, 2.住着一只名叫费利克斯的小萤火虫。 3.费利克斯觉得自己很渺小,和其他萤火虫相比,它们似乎飞得更高,光芒也更亮。 4.“我希望我能像其他萤火虫一样, 5.能发出更亮的光,飞得更高。 6.我真是太小了。”费利克斯说道。 B 1.One night, a strong wind blew through the forest, 2.causing a baby bird to fall from its nest. 3.After some time, Mrs. T, who was a squirrel, found the baby bird lying on the ground. 4."Oh my child, what happened to you?" says Mrs. T. 5."I fell down from my nest, and I can't get up. 6.It's just too high and too dark. I can't see," said the scared baby bird.
1.一天晚上,一阵强风吹过森林, 2.把一只小鸟吹落了巢。 3.过了一段时间,一只名叫T夫人的松鼠发现了躺在地上的小鸟。 4.“哦,我的孩子,你怎么了?”T夫人问道。 5.“我从巢里掉下来了,我爬不上去。 6.巢太高了,周围太黑了,我什么也看不见。”受惊的小鸟说道。 C 1.Mrs. T consoled the bird and told him that she would go and find help. 2.As Mrs. T was looking for help, she found Felix. 3."Hey Felix, I need your help! 4.There is our friend lying on the ground, 5.and he can't get back up to his nest. 6.We need your help," said Mrs. T. 7.But Felix was afraid, 8.and he said, "I'm so small. I don't know if I can make a difference." 9.Mrs. T encouraged him and said, "Every light, no matter how small, can make a big difference, but you have to try, Felix." 1.T夫人安慰了小鸟,并告诉它,她会去找人帮忙。 2.T夫人在寻找帮助时,遇到了费利克斯。 3.“嘿,费利克斯,我需要你的帮助! 4.有只小鸟朋友躺在地上, 5.他爬不上巢, 6.我们需要你的帮助。”T夫人说道。 7.但费利克斯有些害怕, 8.他说:“我太小了,不知道自己能不能帮上忙。” 9.T夫人鼓励他:“每一束光,不论多么微小,都能产生很大的影响,但你必须要尝试,费利克斯。” D 1.Felix took a deep breath and flew to the nest. 2.His light shone brighter with each beat of his wings. 3."I'm here! I'm here to help!" he said. 4.The baby bird saw Felix and reached out. 5.Felix carefully guided the little bird back to its nest. 6.Mrs. T cheered, "Hooray! Felix saved the day!" 7.Felix realized that his light, no matter how small it was, could make a big difference. 8.From that day on, he became known as the brave little firefly.
1.费利克斯深吸一口气,飞向鸟巢。 2.随着翅膀的每一次扇动,他的光芒越来越亮。 3.“我来了!我来帮忙!”他说道。 4.小鸟看见了费利克斯,伸出了翅膀。 5.费利克斯小心地引导小鸟回到了巢中。T夫人欢呼道。 6.太好了!费利克斯救了我们! 7.费利克斯意识到,他的光芒,不论多么微弱,都能产生巨大的影响。 8.从那天起,他被称为勇敢的小萤火虫。
