The Fox and the Grapes 《狐狸和葡萄》 A 1.Once upon a time, there was a fox who loved to eat. 2.One day, he was strolling through the woods searching for food. 3.He found a grape orchard filled with beautiful, ripe grapes hanging from high branches. 4.The fox felt very hungry and was eager to eat the delicious grapes.
1.从前,有一只喜欢吃东西的狐狸。 2.一天,它在树林里散步,寻找食物。 3.它发现了一片葡萄园,里面挂满了美丽、成熟的葡萄,高高地悬在树枝上。 4.狐狸感到非常饥饿,急切地想吃这些美味的葡萄。 B 1.Excitedly, he leaped high into the air, hoping to catch the grapes. 2.But the grapes hung higher than the fox could reach. 3.He tried again and again, but just couldn't get high enough to grab the grapes. 4.Feeling exhausted and disappointed, the fox finally gave up and walked away slowly. 5.As he walked away, he muttered to himself, "I am sure those grapes were probably sour."
