双语录音学习方法：

1、本章英语文字量2460字，双语文字量4920字，每听读一分钟文字量按120字计算，请根据实际自己计算读书量。

2、看着书听双语录音指读并给每一次翻译编号。

3、也可以吃饭、做作业、睡觉、坐车等时间只听不读。

第六章，“9¾站台”

 哈利在德思礼家度过了接下来的一个月。达力现在害怕哈利，弗农姨父和佩妮姨妈假装哈利不存在。对哈利来说，这是一个非常压抑的月份，但他和他的新猫头鹰呆在他的房间里。

Harry spends the next month with the Dursleys. Dudley is now afraid of Harry, and Uncle Vernon and Aunt Petunia pretend Harry does not exist. It is a very depressing month for Harry, but he stays in his room with his new owl for company.

他给猫头鹰取名海德薇，这是他在《魔法史》书中发现的名字。每一天，哈利在日历上打勾，等待着九月一日，这是他在霍格沃茨开学的第一天。

He names her Hedwig, a name he discovers in his book A History of Magic. Each lonely day, Harry checks off a box on his calendar. He can't wait until September the 1st, the first day of school at Hogwarts.

在他与德思礼家的最后一晚，他说服弗农姨父第二天带他去火车站。弗农看起来非常乐意带他去。很明显，德思礼一家不想再让他留在家里。

On his last night with the Dursleys, he convinces Uncle Vernon to take him to the train station the next day. He seems very happy to take him there. It is obvious that the Dursleys do not want him in their house any longer.

第二天，当他们到达火车站时，哈利不知道该做什么或者去哪里。没有9¾站台。他问了几个警卫，但他们都笑他，认为他疯了。哈利开始感到绝望。

The next day, when they arrive at the train station, Harry has no idea what to do or where to go. There is no platform 9 ¾. He asks several guards, but they laugh at him and think he is crazy. Harry begins to feel desperate.

他尽量不惊慌，当火车站的大钟显示他只有10分钟的时间离开时。哈格力忘了告诉他关于火车或站台的什么事了吗？他想。我是否需要用伞敲击什么东西？

He tries not to panic when the large clock in the train station says he only has 10 minutes before his train leaves. Has Hagrid forgotten to tell him something about the train or the platform? He thinks. Do I have to tap something with an umbrella?
