亲爱的家长朋友：

Dear Parents,

也许你也曾经为孩子的英语学习而焦虑——

英语，成了多少孩子心里的负担，也成了多少家庭心里的痛。

making English a burden on the hearts of so many children, and a source of anxiety for so many families.

We understand—because we have walked this road ourselves.

我们在三十年的实践中，亲眼看到无数孩子，在沉重的“学英语”中，失去了对语言、对世界、对自己的热爱。

In over thirty years of practice, we have witnessed countless children lose their love for language, for the world, and even for themselves under the crushing weight of 'learning English.'

其实，语言不是学出来的。语言，是感知出来的，是体验出来的。

In truth, language is not something to be learned by force. Language is sensed, experienced, and lived.

如果一个孩子，读一篇英语文章，完全对内容没有兴趣，只是为了记住单词、记住句型，他能真正读下去吗？他能读得多吗？

If a child reads an English passage without any interest in its content, studying only to memorize vocabulary or sentence patterns, can they truly read it with joy? Can they read much at all?

如果一个孩子，学习一段日常对话，却从来没有在真实生活中使用过，那些对话，又怎么可能变成他自己的语言呢？

If a child memorizes a daily conversation, but never actually uses it in real life, how can that conversation become a living part of their language?

更残酷的是：

More painfully,

小学四年，拿着一千多个词汇量的课本，反复学习，反复考试，却始终走不出初中、高中的英语苦海。

after four years of elementary school, with only a thousand words in their textbooks, children are still trapped in endless cycles of studying and testing through middle and high school.

因为——语言的力量，不是靠记忆堆积出来的，而是靠理解、兴趣、情感连接出来的。

Because—The power of language does not come from rote memory; it grows through understanding, interest, and emotional connection.

孩子们在学校里的学习，已经很辛苦了。

Children already work so hard in school.

在课外的英语学习中，我们不应该再增加任何形式的死记硬背，更不应该让他们在已经疲惫的心灵上，再压上一层焦虑。

In their after-school English learning, we should not add any more burdens of memorization, nor layer more anxiety onto their already tired hearts.

课外的英语学习，应该是一种放松的体验。应该是一次为了乐趣而读书、为了好奇而听书的自由散步。

After-school English learning should be a time of relaxation, an experience of reading and listening purely for joy and curiosity.

只有在没有压力的状态下，只有在双语自由切换、无障碍地听书读书的状态下，只有在不被要求记住每一个单词、每一句句型的状态下，孩子们才会自然发现：那些原本让他们畏惧的中考文章、高考文章，其实读起来并不那么烦人。

Only when there is no pressure, only when they can freely read and listen across two languages, only when they are not forced to memorize every word and sentence, will children naturally discover that those middle school and high school exam passages they once feared are not so frightening after all.

可是，一旦我们要求孩子“必须记住单词”，“必须掌握句型”，阅读就从一条自由的小溪，变成了一条沉重而枯燥的河。

But the moment we require them to memorize every word, to master every sentence, reading stops being a free-flowing river and becomes a heavy, exhausting burden.

所以，请相信：

So please remember:

不是孩子笨，不是英语难，而是方法错了，道路错了。

The problem is not that children are not smart enough, not that English is too difficult, but that the method is wrong, the path is wrong.

我们不是教英语的人，我们是陪着孩子们，在英语的世界里，散步的人。

We are not English teachers in the traditional sense. We are companions, walking with children on a journey through the world of English.

About the Middle School Entrance Exam

是的，我们知道：

许多家长最关心的，

还是孩子小学毕业初中三年后能不能考得好？

能不能考上大家认为的好高中？

能不能拥有一个体面的起点？

What many parents care about the most is whether their child will do well in the middle school entrance exam,

whether they will get into a “good” high school,

and whether they will have a good starting point in life.

我们的回答是——可以，甚至可以更强。

Our answer is: Yes, they can, and even do better.

在我们学校，孩子没有题海、没有排名，

但他们在阅读中积累，在思考中成长，
