THE FOX AND THE CRANE

1.One day, a beautiful crane was dancing.

2.Some little animals were watching her.

3.They liked her dance very much.

4.Just then a fox came and he danced, too.

6.and all the little animals went away.

7. The fox was very jealous of the crane.

8."I will play a trick on her," he thought.

9.He pretended to be kind to the crane

10.and said,"Crane! Come to my home for a meal." 

11..They came to the fox's home.

12. The fox served soup in two plates.

13."It smells good!" said the crane.

14.But her beak was too long and she could not eat it.

15.The fox was very glad to see that.

16. "ha, ha. crane, the way you eat soup is so funny."

17.The fox lapped up the soup with his tongue.

18.The crane ate nothing

19.and went home with an empty stomach.

20."That mean fox played a trick on me. He is very bad ."

21.. Soon, the crane asked the fox to her home for a meal.
