2 陆判官 Judge Lu(18/1806)

LESSON TWO

Judge Lu

 

A

1.Zhu Erdan was born to be a lame.

2.There was something wrong with his left foot.

3.Since he was a lame, he married an ugly woman.

4.There was a temple in the village.

5.In the temple, there were several wooden statues.

6.One of the statues was the statue of a judge.

7.The judge had uncombed hair, a high nose,a big mouth and red beard.

8.The judge looked repulsive and fierce.

9.The judge had a leather whip in his hand.

10.The judge was supposed to punish criminals.

11.It was said that people could hear him beating criminals at night.

12.The criminals let out hopeless wails.

13.People dared not pass by the temple at night.

 

B

1.Zhu erdan was a lame.

2.But he was very brave.

3.One night, Zhu was drinking wine with his friends.

4.One of his friends mentioned the horrible statues.

5.They all talked about the terrible noises from the temple.

6.Erdan laughed at them.

7.He did not believe in ghosts in the world.

8.One of his friends challenged him to carry the statue home.

9.If he could accomplish the task, he would honor him with a good dinner the next night.

10.Erdan went out at once.

11.After a while, Erdan returned with the wooden statue on his back.

12.He put the statue beside the table.

13.He poured some wine into the judge's mouth and said, "You live not far from my home.

14.Come and have a drink with me whenever you are free."

15.Then he carried the statue back to the temple.

 

C

1.The next evening, his friend treated him a good meal at the best restaurant.

2.It was very late when he was home.

3.He was half drunk.

4.He intended to go to bed right way.

5.He was about to take off his clothes.

6.There was a knock at the door.

7.He went to open the door.

8.The visitor was the judge as a real man.

9.Erdan was scared.

10.He asked, "Are you here to punish me for what I did last night?"

11.The judge smiled.

12.He answered kindly, "I am here to accept your invitation to have a drink with you."

13.Erdan was relieved.

14.They began to drink and talk.

15.They had a very good time.

 

D

1.From the night on, the judge often visited Erdan's home.

2.They became good friends.

3.Once Erdan said to the judge, "I am satisfied with my life.

4.But I wish I could walk as well as other people."

5.The judge relied, "I might be able to help you someday."

6.One night, Erdan was awaken by a pressure on his left foot.

7.He saw the Judge.

8.The judge had a strange knife in his hand.

9.He had cut off the bad foot.

10.Then he transplanted a good foot for Erdan.

11.He asked Erdan to get off the bed.

12.Erdan had a walk in the room.

13.He was not a lame any longer.

14.Erdan was very happy.

 

E

1.Once while they were drinking, Erdan mentioned his wife.

2.He said, "My wife is very nice to me.

3.But her face is not pretty.

4.Can you do me a favor to make her face pretty?"

5.The judge said, "Yes, but you have to wait for a chance.

6.And don't tell your wife about it."

7.One midnight several months later, the judge came to Erdan's home.

8.He had a heavy bag with him.

9.They began to drink wine and Erdan's wife went to bed.

10.When she was fast asleep, the judge said to Erdan,

11."I have found a pretty young woman's head for your wife.

12.The woman died only yesterday."

13.Erdan took the judge to the bedroom.

14.The judge cut off his wife's head.

15.Then he transplanted the the young woman's head to her body.

16.Erdan's wife did not wake up during the operation.

17.There was no blood and pain.

 

F

1.The next morning, Erdan's wife washed her face .

2.Then she looked at the mirror as usual.

3.She suddenly let out a sharp cry, "My goddess! Who is the beautiful woman in the mirror?"

4.Erdan told her what had happened the night before.

5.His wife was very happy .

6.She was very grateful to her husband.

7.In a neighbouring town, a rich man's daughter died.

8.At night, his daughter's head was exchanged with a ugly looking woman's head.

9.The man reported the event to the court.

10.Soon the court found out the exchange of the two heads.

11.Erdan and his wife were very afraid.

12.They worried about being sued.

 

G

1.The judge came to his home at night.

2.He told them not to be afraid.

3.He had made an arrangement.

4.That night, the rich man and his wife had a same dream.

5.Their daughter's spirit told them about the exchange.

6.She said she was very happy with the exchange,

7.for her beautiful face could stay in the world.

8.She asked their parents to take Erdan's wife as their own daughter.

9.The next morning, the couple went to the court.

10.They asked the court not to charge Erdan's wife.

11.Then they came to Erdan's home and adopted Erdan's wife as their daughter.

12.Both Erdan and his wife were orphans.

13.They were very happy to be the couple's daughter and son-in-law.

14.They lived together happily as a family.

15.The judge became the friend of the whole family.

16.He often came to have a drink with Erdan and his father-in-law.

17.But he always came at night.

 

陆判官

A

1.朱尔旦生来是个瘸子。

2.他的左脚有些毛病。

3.由于他是个瘸子,他娶了一个挺丑的女人。

4.村子里有个庙。

5.庙里有几座木头的雕像。

6.其中一个雕像是一个判官的雕像。

7.判官的头发凌乱,长着一个大鼻子,大嘴,红胡子。

8.判官看上去又可怕又凶恶。

9.判官的手里还拿着一条皮鞭。

10.判官是负责惩罚罪犯的。

11.据说人们在夜里听见他鞭打罪犯。

12.罪犯发出绝望的哀嚎。

13.人们都不敢在夜里路过那个庙。

B

1.朱尔旦是个瘸子。

2.但是他很大胆。

3.一天晚上,朱尔旦正和他的朋友喝酒。

4.其中一个朋友提到了那些可怕的雕像。

5.他们都谈到从庙里发出来的可怕的声音。

6.朱尔旦嘲笑他们。

7.他根本就不相信这个世界上有鬼。

8.其中一个朋友挑逗他让他把那个雕像搬回家来。

9.如果他能完成这样一项任务,第二天晚上他会招待他吃一顿美美的晚餐。

10.朱尔旦立刻出去了。

11.过了一会,尔旦回来了背上背着那个雕像。

12.他把雕像放在桌子的旁边。

13.他把一些白酒放在判官的嘴里,并且说:你住的离我家不远。

14.无论你什么时候有空过来和我喝一杯。

15.然后他就把雕像搬回了庙里。

C

1.第二天晚上,他的朋友在最好的餐馆里招待

2.他回到家的时候已经很晚了。

3.他已经半醉了。

4.他打算立刻睡觉。

5.他正要脱衣服。

6.传来了敲门的声音。

7.他去开门。

8.来访者是真人的判官。

9.朱尔旦吓坏了。

10.他问,你上这来是因为我昨晚做的事而惩罚我吗

11.判官笑了。

12.他很和蔼地回答说,我上这里来是接受你的邀请同你喝一杯

13.朱尔旦放心了。

14.他们开始喝酒聊天。

15.他们都很开心。

D

1.从那天晚上开始,判官就经常拜访朱尔旦的家。

2.他们成了好朋友。

3.有一次朱尔旦对判官说,我对生活感到很满足

4.但是我还是希望我能像其他人一样正常的行走。

5.判官回答道,也许有一天我能帮助你

6.一天夜里,朱尔旦被左脚的压迫弄醒了。

7.他看到判官。

8.判官的手里拿着一把奇怪的刀子。

9.他已经剌下了他的那只坏脚

10.然后他为尔旦移植了一只好的脚。

11.他让尔旦下床。

12.朱尔旦在屋里走了走。

13.他不在瘸了。

14.朱尔旦非常地高兴。

E

1.又有一次当他们喝酒的时候,朱尔旦提到了他的妻子。

2.他说,我的妻子对我非常好

3.可是她的脸不漂亮。

4.你能给我帮个忙让她的脸变漂亮吗?

5.判官说,可以,但是你得等机会

6.不要告诉你妻子这件事。

7.几个月后的一个半夜里,判官来到朱尔旦的家。

8.他拿着一个重重的袋子。

9.他们开始喝酒朱尔旦的妻子去睡觉了。

10.当她睡熟的时候,判官对朱尔旦说,

11.“我为你妻子找了一个漂亮的年轻女人的头

12.这个女人昨天才死。

13.朱尔旦把判官带到屋里。

14.判官把他妻子的头切了下来。

15.然后他把那个年轻女人的头移植到她的身上。

16.整个手术的过程当中朱尔旦的妻子都没有醒来。

17.既没有血她也不疼。

F

1.第二天早晨,朱尔旦的妻子洗了脸。

2.然后她像通常一样去照镜子。

3.她忽然发出了一声尖叫,我的天哪!镜子里的那个漂亮女人是谁呀?

4.尔旦告诉她头一天夜里发生的事情。

5.他的妻子非常地高兴。

6.她非常地感激她的丈夫。

7.在邻近的一个镇子上,一个有钱人的女儿死了。

8.夜里,他女儿的头被换成了一个长相丑陋的女人的头。

9.这个富人把这件事报告给了衙门。

10.不久衙门就弄明白了两个头相换的事情。

11.尔旦和他的妻子非常地害怕。

12.他们担心吃官司。

G

1.晚上判官来到他的家。

2.他告诉他们不要担心。

3.他已经做好了安排。

4..那天夜里,富人和他的妻子做了同样的梦。

5.她女儿的鬼魂告诉了他们换头的事情,

6.她说她为换头感到高兴。

7.因为她的漂亮的脸可以留在这个世界上。

8.她让她的父母把尔旦的妻子当成自己的女儿。

9.第二天,这对夫妇来到了衙门。

10.他要求衙门不要治尔旦妻子的罪。

11然后他们来到尔旦的家,把尔旦的妻子收作他们的女儿。

12.尔旦和他的妻子都是孤儿。

13.他们能够成为这对夫妇的女儿和女婿感到很高兴。

14.他们作为一家人幸福地生活在一起。

15.判官成为了他们一家人的朋友。

16.他常常来同尔旦和他的岳父喝上一壶。

17.但是他总是夜里来。
