一、（照片引起关注） 1、Wild South China tigers have been considered extinct for thirty years already.
2、However, a farmer claimed to have taken some pictures recently of a wild South China tiger in the forest located in the south of Shaanxi Province.
3、Some of the pictures were published in newspapers and on the net.
4、The farmer has been rewarded 20,000 yuan by the local forest authorities.
5、People responded to the report overwhelmingly.

二、（不同的看法）
6、Some believe that ever since the local government and the people made great efforts to turn the plantations back into a forest, forest cover has expanded and, as a result, South China tigers have reappeared .
7、On the other hand, others believe that the picture was a hoax since it is impossible for South China tigers to reappear after long years of extinction.
8、At present, everyone is waiting for the result of an investigation by higher authorities.
