Fight for TV

争电视

一、（争电视遥控）
1、1、My five-year-old son fights with me for the TV remote nearly everyday.
2、I want to watch the news and TV dramas, but he wants to watch cartoons.
3、Sometimes we take turns watching,
4、and sometimes we flip a coin or play rock-paper-scissors to see who gets to watch.
5、Sometimes, I would yell angrily at him, and he would cry loudly.

二、（不能再买一个电视的原因）
6、I proposed to my wife to buy a small TV for him.
7、She decidedly rejected my proposal, even though a small television does not cost much.
8、She said both father and son would spend too much time in front of the TV if we had two sets.
9、She also said that a TV for the child would estrange him from his parents.
10、I think she was absolutely right.
