An important Meeting(2)

"Why does she come to us herself？" "She wants her grandson to turn back into a boy." "Well, we see," most of them understood. "She has no choice but to cooperate with us." said the Mouse Queen. " What about the little eater's father? Won't he come to us?" asked the assistant. "That fool knows nothing about the witch world. If I am right, he would beg the old oracle for help." Now the Mouse Queen began to make arrangements. She ordered the assistant, "From today on, you arrange some people to take turns to hide around the entrance of the hotel to keep watching, and some others at the dinning hall around meal time. Report once the old oracle or the fool appears." "Yes. Your Majesty!" said the assistant. The cadres were all happy and full of hope, they followed the assistant out. Every day the witch mice looked forward to the arrival of Grandma.
During the first several days, they were full of hopes. As time passed, they were more and more disappointed and began to doubt their leader's prediction. One morning, as they were losing hope, the assistant rushed in and reported, "Your Majesty, the fool has entered the hotel!" The witch mice were all excited. At noon, a witch mouse spying around the dinning hall came and reported, "The fool went in the dinning hall, made an order and left." The assistant said, "Your Majesty. He must have had the food sent to the room for him to eat with the little eater." The Mouse Queen nodded. "What shall we do next?" the assistant asked. " Go on waiting for the old oracle." She ordered the assistant, "You yourself go and spy around the hotel entrance with some people, once the old oracle arrives, report immediately."
"Yes. Your Majesty." the assistant left. Indeed, in the afternoon, the assistant rushed in excitedly. "Your Majesty, there she is，you are really wise!" In the evening, the witch mouse spying around the dinning hall reported that Grandma and Mr.Jackins were having a meal there. The assistant reported, "Your Majesty, before the meal, the fool sent some food to the room, which means that the two boy mice must be in the room. What shall we do?" The Mouse Queen meditated for a while and said, "The old oracle will surely appear around the hotel to give us a chance to negotiate with her, spy around the hotel and find their routines." |
