Learning at Home

       Seven-year-old Congcong is a healthy and clever boy, but he does not go to school like other kids. His father, who thinks that school education is not enough for his son, teaches him at home. Congcong could read newspapers at the age of 4 and did calculations as well as grown-ups when he was only 5. Now he is learning senior school courses, such as math, physics, and chemistry. He has also learned a lot of classical Chinese essays by heart which is not easy even for senior school students. His father claims that he has  an English vocabulary of 5,000, which is the number for a non-English-major college student in the country. Congcong's father has decided to let Congcong take the test to enter university in two years' time. Congcong's grandparents, who hope that Congcong can have a normal childhood, are strongly against their son's decision. They have tried everything to persuade their son to send their grandson to school but have failed. They are considering  suing Congcong's father for they think  it is against the laws of compulsory education of the state.
