One day, in a sunny meadow, a donkey happily munched on sweet grass. Suddenly, a hungry wolf approached.

"I want to eat you!" declared the wolf. The donkey, feeling frightened, quickly brainstormed to find a way to escape.

"What a plump and tasty donkey! I'll have it for lunch," thought the wolf, saliva dripping as he hurried toward the donkey.

The clever donkey, however, pretended to have a hurt foot."My foot hurts!" he shouted. Perplexed, the wolf asked, "What's wrong with your foot?" The donkey explained, "I have a thorn in my hoof. If you eat me, the thorn will hurt your throat. Please pull it out before you eat me."

The wolf held the donkey's hoof, closely examining it. "Well, where is the thorn?" he inquired. At that moment, the donkey kicked the wolf's face hard and swiftly ran away.

"You foolish wolf, I don't have a thorn in my hoof at all! I tricked you!"

The moral of the story is: when faced with danger, don't panic, use your head.
