Cheeky Chick!

Five little chicks hear mother hen say,

“Play near the hen house. don't go away.”

Four little chicks say, “yes, okay!”

One little chick says......

“Hooey!”

Five little chicks hear Mother Hen say,

“If Fox comes by, run in right away.”

Four little chicks say, “yes, it's our duty!”

One little chick says.....

“Phooey!”

Four little chicks here mother Hen cluck.

stay away from that heap of muck.

four little chicks say yes Mommy dear.

one little chick doesn't hear.

One little chick much much to bolt.

doesn't do what he's been told. Wow. He cheeps.

there's a world to see. I'm going now. rules aren't for me.

back go back! quack dazzled Drake. but chick Marches On past the lake. 

what are you doing n's dapple horse going for a walk of course .

“where's your mommy?” Moos spotty cow.

Cheeky chick cheeps, “can't talk now.”

“Out on your own?” Baas Black Sheep.

Red Tractor honks, “beep! Beep! Beep!”

Pink pig grunts, “chick, go home.you shouldn't be out here, on your own.”

but chick marches on until he spies.....

a drooling mouth and smothering eyes. “hello!” says Fox. “what a treat!”

I was thinking of having a bite to eat.

“uh-oh ....”says chick, and then, uh um, I wish I had listened to my mom

Then turning around.....

“you're smelly !”he cries.

then he runs so fast- he nearly flies!

pass pink pig!

pass Black Sheep. pass Red Tractor beep beep beep.

pass spotty cow and dappled horse, “where are you going. Chick?”

“home, of course!”

But.......

Fox is gaining on cheeky chick.......

oh no! he'll catch him real quick .

“can't bear to watch!” quacks dazzle Drake.

As they come racing towards the lake.

but then chick stops.

he's going to crash and fox chips over.

No!

Splash!

wash behind your ears n horse and between your toes of course.

Wow~ cheeky chick your fur will shine.

As they pin Fox up on the clothesline.

One little chick is heading home.

Lesson learned- he shouldn't roam.

Now when he is all alone.

Six little chicks hear Mother Hen say ,stay near the hen house don't go away.

Five little chicks say, “yes ,okay!”

One little chick says, “bye!”

But she doesn't get very far.
