Thirteen Kidnapping
For two days,
"Hold on, give the little eater something nice to eat and say something like this.."
Then she instructed the assistant how to talk with Bruno before she left with a few witch mice. The third day, they hid in the reefs where we played hide-and-seek very early. When they saw that I had hidden up, they deliberately let Bruno see the figure of a mouse witch not far.
Bruno thought it was me and ran after her, so he ran further and further Then he lost sight of the mouse and stopped to look around. Just at that moment, the assistant came out from behind a reef, saying,
"Bruno，how are you?" Bruno turned and saw a mouse who could speak, he yelled, "Who are you? How did you know my name?" "We are the ladies in the meeting room. Can't you remember us?" the assistant said very friendly.
"It is you who turned me into a mouse! You are bad guys. "Bruno yelled to her. "What is the disadvantage of being a mouse? You don't have to go to school, no homework, eat whatever you like to eat, it's a good thing, isn't it?
You see, we have all become mice. It is fun for us to be a mouse." The assistant was not at all annoyed.
Bruno was not angry any longer, he thought about it and said, "I thought so, but I watched TV.A mouse can live for only two years. I don't want to live for only two years."
"That doesn't matter! We can become humans at any moment！" the assistant cheated Bruno.
"Really ? My father took me here to meet Charlie's grandma to see if she has a way of turning me back into a boy." said Bruno.
I could not find Bruno and felt that there was something wrong. I climbed up a high reef and looked towards Grandma, Bruno was not in sight. If Bruno was back at the umbrella with Grandma and Mr. Jackins, I could see him at a glance.
I tried to look in the opposite direction, I could see some figures of mice,not only one.
I knew that it must be the witch mice who had taken Bruno away . I hurried back to the umbrella, ate some millet, took my sword and went to chase Bruno and the witch mice.
I soon caught up with them, hiding nearby. I heard them talking and followed them to the house in which the witch mice lived. The Mouse Queen and several other witch mice were waiting on the lawn. She was very glad to see the assistant really bringing Bruno back. She said to Bruno, "Little honey, it's nice to see you here." Bruno said, "Let me have something nice to eat." The Mouse Queen gave him some tasty and crisp snacks and Bruno began to eat. "We have much to eat. Take your time to enjoy it. Tell me, is being a mouse better than a boy?"
she asked very friendly. "It's ok to be a mouse, But a mouse can live for only two years. I want to become a boy again.
Turn me back into a boy!" he said to her. The Mouse Queen said, "We will. Go to the room. There is something more to eat." Bruno was glad to hear that and followed two witch mice into the room. The assistant asked, "Your Majesty. What shall we do now?" The Mouse Queen said, "Keep the little eater well in the room. Now we can negotiate with the old oracle." |
