Rain: What is it?

"What is rain?" asks Smarty Cat.

"Rain is water that falls from the clouds in the sky." says Chook the Chicken.

Water is everywhere!

It's in the rivers.

It's in the oceans.

It can be found in pools.

And in puddles!

When the sun shines, it makes the water warm.

The water turns into tiny drops,

and the droplets float up into the sky!

As they go higher, the droplets get cooler and bigger.

And they all cuddle together to make clouds.

“When the droplets in the clouds get too big and heavy,

they fall back down to the ground,

And that's what rain is, Smarty Cat!”says Chook.

"Hey Smarty Cat!" Says Chook.

"What did the rain cloud wear under his raincoat?"

"I don't know, what?" asks Smarty Cat.

"Thunderpants!"
