Dad: Mia, do you remember when you turned
six? Mia: Of course, Dad. We made a paper boat
together and let it sail in the pool. Mum: Look, Mia. Here's a new paper boat for
you! Dad: It's a letter from Mom and me. We want
to share some thoughts with you. Mia: Oh, thank you! Dear Mia, Time flies! Now you're in fifth grade! Are
you ready for all the new adventures ahead? Elementary school was like a small pool,
safe and familiar. Dad and Mom protected your boat from any strong winds. But
now, you're heading into middle school, which is like a river—wide and
fast-moving. You'll encounter new challenges, but we'll still be here to
support you. Sometimes, though, you'll need to navigate your boat on your own.
Just do your best and work hard. Remember: No pain, no gain. Every challenge
you face will help you grow stronger, like sailing through storms to reach the
open sea. We've turned this letter into a paper boat
for you. We hope it guides you in the years ahead! With love, Dad and Mom |
